The staff were amazing, the room was huge and comfortable and it was a quick walk into town which was perfect. Well priced at $85.
I was not used to not having my own bathroom but it was just across the hall so was great.

The room is beautifully decorated and spacious, equipped with amenities such as an electric kettle, central heating, and a work desk, and it's located near an eight-sided plaza, all for a reasonable price of £106.

Location good. Free WiFi and basic breakfast.
The room I have for 2 nights was too small. Toilet wash basin tap, cold and hot are 2 separate taps, having problem with warm water for wash. Wooden floor poor condition, squeking noise.

Overall it is a wonderful old hotel and we enjoyed the stay, the location was excellent super close to shopping the stadium. The rooms are tidy and beautifully decorated, and are complete with bath tub, freshly brewed hot coffee plus good basic breakfast. The decoration is lovely. All the staff members are excellent and amicable. All in all they offer terrific service😃😀

It was a good value and the people were nice.
The wireless internet, which was free needed some work. It didn't work so well upstairs.

Nice homely atmosphere. Readily available tea/coffee and snacks at any time of day. Nice Victorian house, very nostalgic for those who like old houses reminiscent of europe. They have a really cute black kitten who is very friendly, but might try and eat your toast!

Central location, friendly staff, interesting place.
The bed and breakfast looked a bit dumpy. Overall feel was a college dorm. Did not realize there were two homes, would have liked to have been informed that we were not staying in the main house. Did not like the downstairs bedroom, would rather have had a view for the money. Would not have called it "Premium". Did not match the picture on Booked.net For the money I would have saved $50 and stayed in the regular room.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Feel warm and like live in a family house. Location is very close to the city centre. Very English B&B in New Zealand. We have good memory living there.

The value for money at this place was excellent. The room was spacious, comfortable, and had lovely furnishings. The location was perfect, with easy access to the city, and the staff were friendly and helpful.
The breakfast offerings could have been improved with a wider variety of options.

Great location and really enjoyed their acceptance of families. The fire was beautiful and breakfast very impressive. The best part definitely was the way they were with us having our toddlers there, it was no problem and we felt very welcome.
Some of the areas were slightly shabby, ie. The toilet roll holder in the room was rusty (would have been better to not have had one at all).

The Young Lady who was on in the Morning (Danielle) was a great asset to Hulmes. She was very pleasant with the guests. The breakfast was great too. Lots to choose from.
Pillows on the bed were too flat...Plump pillows would have made a big difference to our comfort level.
